liner
INFLAS®
liner
The challenge
Abrasive bulk solids can lead to high levels of wear on elastomer seals. Sensitive media may be damaged as the disc closes.
The innovation
The INFLAS® sealing system features an inflatable liner to ensure gentle opening and closing. This hugely minimises friction wear.
The underlying principle
- The valve closes with a low torque.
- A gap is initially left between the liner and the valve disc.
- The liner is pressed uniformly onto the polished sealing surface of the valve disc with low air/inert gas pressure.
- The flow of media is securely closed off.
- To gently open the valve, air is simply let out of the system.
All necessary functions can be controlled via existing process control systems, the EBRO micro controller or the ECO pneumatic control block.
The innovative INFLAS® liner
- Double-sided profiles ensure optimum fit between the liner and the body.
- Convex shape absorbs deformation when fitting between flanges and prevents damage or higher torques.
- Raised locating ring prevents lateral displacement when inflated or when pressure is applied from just one side.
- Stabilised shaft seals with centring lugs make sure the liner is correctly aligned inside the valve.
Perfect for many different applications
With 6 basic liners and 34 different material combinations we can provide the perfect liner for every application.

WB 14
Lug-type knife gate valve
1 | WB 14
The Stafsjö knife gate valve seals on both sides and can therefore be fitted in pipes irrespective of the pressure direction. A fully flanged body and integral flange gaskets make installation straightforward and allow the valve to be fitted on pipe end connections.
2 | SC Linear actuator
Thanks to its extremely detailed torque graduation, the SC linear cylinder is a sound solution for almost every valve with stroke movement.
The integral NAMUR interface and the body groove for housing contactless limit switches guarantee excellent control and feedback options.

When designing systems in the food and beverage industry, the careful handling of products is an absolute priority.

Millions of tonnes of various products are transported from A to B on a daily basis by road, rail and sea.
EBRO valves and actuators have been fulfilling important functions in this process for decades.
Whether they are used to seal supply lines or in swimming pool filter systems on cruise ships, EBRO butterfly and control valves are always the first choice when quality and reliability are required.

Z 011-A therm
Wafer Type valve with integrated thermometer
1 | Z 011-A
This soft-sealing wafer-type butterfly valve can be used almost universally at operating pressures up to 16 bar and temperatures from -10°C to +130°C.
A wide selection of standard materials, various approvals and certificates from independent classification societies and the proverbial excellent EBRO quality ensure operational reliability in a wide range of applications.
2 | Thermometer
The temperature element is located exactly in the disc around which the medium flows, thus preventing the formation of a mixed temperature between the medium and the valve body - Patented bimetallic spiral ensures fast response time to temperature changes.

General information
- EBRO therm butterfly valves are ready to accept thermometers, electronic thermo sensors (PT 100) or a system identification plate
- The valves are supplied with the mounting hole sealed and thethermometer is enclosed separately -marked to prevent- confusion
- The patented be-metallic helix guarantees a quick reaction time during temperature changes and - due to its position in the valvedisc -prevents the formation of a mixed temperature between the medium and the valve body
- Measuring ranges:
Hot water 0°C to 120°C
Cold water -20°C to +40°C - Accuracy class: 1
- Thermometer remains in its position when actuated
